FD Fan Expansion Joints

Forced Draft Fans (also called FD Fans) are designed to provide a positive pressure thus forcing the air flow through the system. FD fans are used to push combustion air into a boiler. Typically these joints are exposed to ambient air that is being sent to a heat exchanger to before being used for combustion air.
